I saw Jumper last Sunday actually, with my boyfriend. I'll say the special effects were pretty good, the acting was okay, the story line was real weak, but it entertained me to see Hayden Christensian as David Rice and not a Star Wars jedi.
All I have to say is that people either totally hated it, or excepted it as what it was. That's for you to decide which category you fall into. I happened to fall in the except it as it was.
Bottom Line: I say it's definitely worth seeing. If you don't focus too much on the plot. It does have a little plot, but I definitely suggest reading the book after seeing the movie before you say it sucked because so far, the book which is different, but has a lot of similarities, explains many things in the movie.
